House Symanah (allied with House Mollari) and the Obsidian Grey Council all wish you the compliments of the season and hope that we all enjoy loads more sci-fi and fantasy in 2010. The series is now coming to an end. I think it's the last one this coming Saturday. I have recorded them all, but I expect that a box set will be out, probably not in time for Christmas though. I highly recommend it, the second series carries the story further on and events are being set up for when...

Heads-up for those who enjoyed this sword n sorcery series. The second series is now being shown on the BBC, and it's awesome. I don't know when it will be crossing the Atlantic, but I just thought you would like to know. Here's a link to a fansite if you'd like more info: http://www.merlint...

LOL! I once had an employment contract like Quark's, nothing was written down on paper but everything that went wrong was my fault. So Rom has my sympathy and I'm glad to have left that workplace behind!

Love those dialogues between Quark and Odo, they are the perfect comedy duo!

As some of you may know, I help to run a sci-fi group on Facebook called the Obsidian Order. I've just started working on an Obsidian Order game on Facebook. The game is still very much under construction but I'd love anyone who's on Facebook to come and test it out and/or suggest ideas for adding c...

Just wondering if anyone can help. I recently had to get a new computer because my old one died on me. When I was in the process of reinstalling all my programs on the new PC, I discovered that my keycodes for my Photoshop CS3 don't work anymore. I think they must have expired and I can't afford to ...

OK, finally we have reached the end of this sordid tale ... THE TAARG LIES DOWN – PART SIX “Pickles!” yelled Harold the Barrell triumphantly, leaning over the bar to retrieve his beloved pet. Just as he grabbed hold of Pickles’ studded collar, he heard the strident voice of his wife calling “Harold!...

mmmmm ... John Barrowman ... fantasy guy! Bit of a disparaging description of Torchwood there. IMO there's a lot more to Torchwood than is stated in this review, the source isn't mentioned and I appreciate everyone's entitled to their opinion. Never really got into Captain America, I suppose he didn...

THE TAARG LIES DOWN – PART FIVE “But where’s my Pickles?” cried the distraught well known restaurant owner, Mr Harold Barrell, who was by now attracting a great deal of attention from Spot, Data’s pet endothermic quadruped. Mr Barrell considered the possibilities of adding new recipes to his already...

Wow! That's pretty amazing! I'd heard of "raining cats and dogs" of course, but I had no idea that such events happened in reality.

THE TAARG LIES DOWN – PART FOUR “Captain, incoming transmission from the Klingon vessel” growled Worf. “Onscreen” Picard ordered. The dimly lit interior of the Klingon ship hove into view. Sitting in the Captain’s chair was a taarg, heavily armoured in full Klingon battle regalia, and wielding a dis...

I've just finished watching Torchwood - Children of Earth. I have to say that it's totally amazing, it ticks all the right boxes in terms of characters, emotions, technology, plot lines and atmospheres. At times I gasped in shock horror, other times I laughed out loud and there were plenty of tear-j...
