Captains Log

I have ordered a investigation of this planet it is a very barley livable planet very inhospitable but we have been picking up strange readings Ive decided to stay behind and run things from the bridge and send the crew and several Security personal to investigate.

I will leave it up to my First Officer to select the personal to send to this planet Unfortunately they have to yous the Environment suits for the air is unbreathable..

Josh: Unica, Salena to study anything that might come up on the planet and Duron and Dolphin incase anything happens. We will be be going by shuttle because of the atmosphere. I will be piloting the shuttle following close to yous scanning the area. Unica and Salena Report any findings of the strange energy readings that we picked up earlier.

As Salena stands next to Unica and the test results come in Salena taps her combadge and says

"Salean to Josh" "Once they hear the first officer reply Salena fills him in
After thorough investigation we have came to the conclusion that the strange energy readings is a distress single. We have also picked up a life sign." Salena noticed a exciting look on Unicas face and before she could ask Unica spoke up "Sir we are also picking up wave patterns from another universe. We may have found a way that we can move back and forth between home and this universe." As Unica turned back to your computer Salena replied "We are just about ready to head down to the planet to see if we can find the source of the distress single."
Once Salena was finished with her report she waited for Josh to reply. After a few min she heard him say. "Good job you two, keep me informed of your findings and watch your six."

Captain to Landing party..

Make sure yous stay in pairs and watch each others backs I have a bad feeling about this ..

Commander keep the shuttles scanners locked on the landing party they might need the extra weapons from the shuttle if they get pinned down or they need a quick get away .

Remember people the transporters don't work in this environment ..keep me apprised of the situation.

As Unica and Salena head off they hear some strange noises ahead of them. Salena looks at Unica and asks her what she thinks it is..

Unica stops to concentrate on the sounds. She turns to Selena
"They sound like recording instruments, and instruments of study. I do believe I heard the chirp of a tricorder."
Unica listened again. There was one sound she could not place.
"We should be careful as we go. I don't know quite what to expect"

Salena keeps looking around for any movement. This planet reminds me of Betazed with all these gardens and beautiful scenery. Unica was about to say something in return as she noticed Salena ran off into the bushes. Unica went to follow Salena just to see her blend in with her surroundings, what is it you see she said. She could hear more noises and pulled out her phaser and slowly walks after Salena... Unica thinks to herself, "What in the world is she getting me into now" Moments later she heard Salena say gotcha you are slippery aren't you. Unica a little puzzled called out to Salena "were are you and what did you catch." I am over here said Salena and I have captured something for Kalhar. She had been complaining about her food being replicated lately. That is if the Captain approves of a unknown animal being brought back to the ship. Might have to get the doc to check it out. Unica starts to laugh you are asking for trouble if you ask me, come on lets get back to work. Salena just grinned as she tied a vine to the creature and went to catch up with Unica who had started back to the path. I wonder if this is the other sound we could not place or if there is something else out there....
Back on the path Unica and Salena could see the big round gate and knew they were all most there. Salena to Dolphin when you and Duron are done doing what you are doing, I have something for you to check out. Salena looked back to the creature she had on the vine... "come on now keep up."

Doc the quadrants are not reading on the tricorder. The closer we are getting to this gate the crazier our interments are reading.... Unica suggests that you try to lock on to either her or my life sign.

Dolphin and Duron arrive at the quardnets where Salena and Unica had been and followed the path that lead to an animal tied up with a vine, Dolphin got out her recording device and started describing the creature saying that it looked alot like a creature from earth called an iguana, this one was about 3 feet long, with green skin, it has feet with 3 long finger like claws. Dolphin and Duron slowly moved closer to the animal one step at a time, the creature didn't move but watched as we moved closer to it. We stopped about 6 steps away from the creature. The creature moved toward us so we stood still as not to scare it, the creature didn't do anything, so Duron went to bend over to touch the creature Dolphin quickly stopped him and told him that we should put rubber gloves on first so has to not catch any diseases or anything from the creature, or give the creature any disease from us, until tests can be done and the creature checked over.

We both put gloves on then Duron slowly bent over to touch the creature, the creature let Duron touch it. Dolphin went into her one medical case and got a piece of food and put some medication in it to put the creature to sleep so they could examine it more closely. The creature ate the food and within 10 minutes it was out cold Duron and Dolphin examined the creature very carefully, from head to tail. It took 2 hours to examine the creature making sure as not to miss anything , we did all the testing and blood work on site as not to leave the creature alone. Duron and Dolphin double checked everything and all tests came back negative the creature is health no diseases at all.

Dolphin reported her findings to the Captain telling him that the creature is health and safe to bring aboard the ship.

The closer Unica and Salena got to the gate the wakier the readings became. Unica could not get readings of any kind; not from the gate, plant life, from herself or Salena. "THIS IS POINTLESS" Unica stated, putting the tricordor back on her belt. "HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO STUDY SOMETHING THAT WE CAN'T GET INFORMATION FROM?" Salena looked at Unica a shrugged. "IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THE FURTHER AWAY WE ARE THE BETTER THE INSTRUMENTS WORK." "I SHOULD SIGNAL THE CAPTAIN TO LET HIM KNOW WHATS GOING ON." Unica taps her com padge. "UNICA TO THE CAPTAIN." No answer. Unica tries again. Still no answer. "MAYBE WE SHOULD TRACK BACK AND TRY TO GET A SIGNAL, LET THE CAPTAIN KNOW WHATS GOING ON AND HE CAN TELL US HOW TO PROCEED." [color=cyan]"THAT MAY BE THE BEST WAY TO GO replied Salena. Suddenly Unica notice Salena go into stealth mode and motions her to act as though everything is normal. Salena has notice something moving in the bushes.

As I head into the bushes I noticed that the person who was at the gate is no longer there.... I look around and see a faint shadow and slowly walk over. As I kept moving forward I looked back to see Unica, Dolphin and Duron getting closer to the gate. I hear a females voice say "Oh no you don't the gate is mine" Just as I turned to were the voice was coming from I see what looked to be a humanoid female with a weapon pointed towards the others.... I revealed myself to her and hollered to the others to get down, at the same time the person standing in front of me fell to the ground with fear in her eyes. I leaned over and said my name is Salena we are not here to harm you. She replied by saying her name is RubieKay and she was here to study the Gate. As I helped RubieKay up I then noticed she was part Betazed. We walked over to the gate and I introduced everyone.. It was mentioned to RubieKay that if the Captain approved we could share all information about this Gate, though we had to get away from the gate due to the interference blocking out communications.

Although Rubiekay wanted information offered by the new comers; she was a little reluctant to share her discover. She was a little protective of it. This was her baby sort to speak. However she agreed; new information was better then none. Unica stood in front of the massive structure.
“What are you anyway”; Unica stated.
Everyone jumped has the feminine voice boomed from the structure.
“I am the Guardian Of the worlds between”
“What is that suppose to mean”, asked Unica.
“I am the Guardian of other possibilities”, boomed the Guardian.
“Another Riddle”, Stated Unica. She was ready to dig her hands in this mystery.
RubieKay walked up to the Guardian to ask her question.
“Why have you never spoken before”?
“You never asked me a question”, the Guardian simply stated.
Unica was more intrigued no by this Guardian, and wanted more answers. Hopefully she can get this thing to stop talking in riddles.
“Salena, I wish to remain here. Take the others and update the captain on whats going on.”
“O no, you’re not staying wouth out me. We will both stay to see if anything new happens”, stated RubieKay.
Unica shook her head in agreement. She waved as the others left to inform the captain.
